Home WordPress essentials Trash A Page
Trash A Page
Moving a page to the Trash takes it off your site without deleting it straight away. Use it for pages you no longer need, like an old promotion or a service you have stopped offering.
Videos not enabled.
By default WordPress keeps trashed items for 30 days and then deletes them for good. Menu links and links from other pages that pointed to the trashed page will lead to an error page, so update those as well.
Before you finish
- Check your menu for a gap or a broken link after trashing the page.
