Home WordPress essentials The Dashboard
The Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in to WordPress. It gives an overview of your site and holds the menu down the left side that leads to everything else in the admin area.
Videos not enabled.
The boxes on the Dashboard come from WordPress itself and from plugins, so yours may look different from someone else’s. Most can be hidden or rearranged through Screen Options at the top of the page, which helps if some of them only add clutter.
