Home WordPress essentials The Admin Bar
The Admin Bar
The Admin Bar is the toolbar across the top of the screen when you are logged in to WordPress. It gives quick links to edit the page you are viewing, add new content or go back to the Dashboard.
Videos not enabled.
It also shows on the front of your site, but only to you while you are logged in, and visitors never see it. Plugins can add their own items to the bar, so yours may carry more links than a fresh install.
Before you finish
- To see a page exactly as visitors do, open it in a private browser window.
