Shipping Classes
Shipping classes group products that cost about the same to send, such as bulky items or small satchels. You then give each class its own cost inside the shipping methods for each shipping zone.

A class has no effect until a shipping method uses it. When you add a new product, remember to assign its class too, or it will use the default rate and the customer may be charged too little for postage.
Before you finish
- Add a product from each class to the cart and check the shipping cost at checkout.
