Home WordPress essentials Media Library
Media Library
The Media Library holds every image, PDF and other file uploaded to your site. Go there when you want to find a file, check its details or reuse something you have already uploaded.
Videos not enabled.
Each file has its own alt text, title and caption fields that you can edit at any time. Deleting a file from the library breaks it on every page that uses it, so check where it appears before you delete anything.
Before you finish
- Give files sensible names before uploading, such as the product or place shown in the photo.
