Variable Product

A variable product is one item sold in several versions, such as a shirt in different sizes and colours. Each variation can carry its own price, stock, image and SKU, and the customer picks options before adding it to the cart.

You add the attributes used for variations first, then create the variations from them. A variation left without a price cannot be bought, so go through each one after they are created.
